ABOUT STUDY PROCUREMENT
About me and Study Procurement
Study Procurement is a learning resource for anyone working towards CIPS qualifications
I’m Elizabeth Evans MCIPS, a procurement consultant, former teacher and creator of CIPS study resources on Udemy.
Why Study With Me?
Before moving into procurement, I was a teacher. And I think that’s what makes my approach to CIPS revision a little different.
Knowing a subject and knowing how to teach it are two very different things. Fortunately, I’ve got experience in both.
I’ve worked in procurement across the public and private sectors, particularly in construction and services. But I also understand how people learn, how to break down complicated topics and how to prepare students for exams.
Why I started creating CIPS study resources
I’ve been creating CIPS practice questions and courses on Udemy for around five years, and they’ve now reached over 6,000 learners, with more than 4,000 reviews. Some of my courses have also been selected for Udemy Business, which I’m particularly proud of.
I originally started creating these resources because, when I was studying for CIPS myself, I couldn’t find the sort of practice questions I wanted. There was plenty of theory available, but not enough help with actually preparing for the exams.
So I made my own.
What makes my courses different?
I don’t just tell you which answer is correct. I explain why it’s correct, why the other options aren’t, and where to find the relevant information in your CIPS study guide. My questions are designed to reflect the real exams, helping you practise your knowledge, timing and exam technique.
I’m also a moderator of a CIPS student Facebook community with over 12,000 members, so I regularly hear directly from students about what they’re struggling with.
Why I do this
Ultimately, I want to help students do more than just memorise enough information to scrape through an exam. I want you to understand the theory, see how it works in real life and feel confident applying it.
And if I can help you pass your exams first time along the way, even better!
